Total Duration: Approximately 2 hours (unscored sections + 3 scored sections)

Part 1: Speaking & Writing (54-67 minutes)

  • Overall score range: 10-90 points
  • Communicative skills scores: Listening, Reading, Speaking, Writing (10-90 each)
  • Enabling skills scores: Grammar, Oral Fluency, Pronunciation, Spelling, Vocabulary, Written Discourse
  • Score distribution within 5 business days
  • Scores valid for 2 years
  • No passing or failing—institutions set their own requirements (typically 50-79)
